Hi guys!
You've probably noticed that I haven't done a lot of art lately, and it's all my fault. I got lazy, plain and simple.
To keep this journal short, this is a mini announcement that some of my art can be found on my art Tumblr that I just set up (master-derpclonis.tumblr.com). It will house short fanfic pieces, in-progress works, mini-tutorials, and other digital/traditional art pieces that I feel may not be up to par with my usual stuff.
So yeah. :3

Teen Arts Fest and a bit of a bind!
Today, I went to Teen Arts at a local community college (and missed a pre-calc quiz >:) ). It was AMAZING to see what people could do with a few bits of art material! It was a bit disconcerting and intimidating when my paintings were put up in contrast to people from other schools, but I also got a neat critique on my painting (Memoirs of a Pseudo-Sibling).
My favorite one was actually a painting made from oil paint and canvas- a 12th grade homeschooler painted it, and it was AWESOME to see how committed people are to art! :3
I'm just glad that I'll be able to go again next year- my art teacher's schedule had freed up enough so that it's n
Crap Scrap account?
I might keep a separate account for art I don't feel that's good to be posted here. Things that would be posted there would almost be the same as the things I post here, only at what I feel as a lower quality (parts of fanfiction I wrote, digital/traditional media, etc.).
If I feel like it, I might connect it to my Tumblr account to show some processes of the drawings.

It's officially 2012 starting today, and the year's looking to be great as it begins with a wonderful start. What sort of things could happen this year? I don't know, you tell me.
2011 was known as the year of uprising as several well known figures such as Osama Bin Laden were felled. Occupy Wall Street became a famous movement that spurred several protests quite like it worldwide. The revolution and unrest in the Middle East became the talk of the world as countries like Libya gained their independence from their oppressive rulers.

My Tumblr and DA is filled with Left 4 Dead fans cosplaying Hunters [and I made a friend cosplay Bill], but I'm not bothered by it- they have the spirit!
I wanted to go to my school dressed up as Zoey, but I guessed that they wouldn't allow fake blood stains on my shirt, so I had to toss that idea out. ...Oh well. At least I have today off due to the snow storm knocking out the power.
...And a red hoodie lying next to some tape.
